  About Cine Film to DVD Transfer  
 
Film captured during the 1950’s – 1970’s is reaching a point now when it should be converted to digital format before it disintegrates due to its age. Often the original colours will simply fade due to the different emulsions & developing techniques used at the time. Film is adversely affected by light, tempreture, humidity & of course the age of the film. In many cases mildew & fungus can eat into the emulsion damageing the image information. These are memories that should not be lost simply due to neglect.
  
  To transfer your cine film to DVD I use an Australian product called Cine - Tranz. This product is one of the finest quality film to DVD transfer units available. It incorporates the highest quality face coated optical mirror to transfer a projected image onto a high-density viewing screen, offering the best possible image quality on a portable device. The high quality optical mirror has a silver coating on the face of the glass, producing a distortion free image which is essential for high quality image transfer.
